Tokyo | 15/07/2024 - Recently, on July 2nd, 2024, Vietnam Wafer Joint Stock Company signed a joint venture agreement with Hyperion Tokyo Co., Ltd. - a commercial partner with more than 20 years of experience in the field of Vietnam - Japan trade promotion & solar energy to jointly establish Vietnam Wafer Japan LLC with the head office in Tokyo.


Amidst the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku, is the Kishimoto Building (2-2-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) - home to the headquarters of Vietnam Wafer Japan Co., Ltd. - a joint venture between Vietnam Wafer and Hyperion Tokyo - a strategic partner with over 20 years of experience in the field of renewable energy and trade between Vietnam & Japan.

On July 2nd, 2024, Vietnam Wafer Joint Stock Company has successfully signed a Joint Venture agreement with Hyperion Tokyo Co., Ltd. - a commercial partner with more than 20 years of experience in the field of Vietnam - Japan trade promotion & solar energy to jointly establish Vietnam Wafer Japan Co., Ltd. (Vietnam Wafer Japan LLC) with the head office in Chiyoda-ku district, Tokyo.


Mr. Chau Hoang Long (left) - CEO of Vietnam Wafer and Mr. Katsuhiko Suzuki (right) - CEO of Hyperion Tokyo Co., Ltd. signed a Joint Venture agreement in Japan on July 2nd, 2024.


The establishment of the joint venture company (Vietnam Wafer Japan LLC) marks Vietnam Wafer's successful entry into the Japanese market. This is a proud milestone for the entire team after only 04 months of establishment and operation of the Company.


Mr. Chau Hoang Long - CEO of Vietnam Wafer hopes that with this step, the company will be able to officially realize the vision of "Providing the world's leading semiconductor products from Vietnam", strengthening the Vietnamese high-tech brand in the international arena, especially in "highly-demanding" markets such as Japan, Korea, and the United States.


Mr. Katsuhiko Suzuki - CEO of Hyperion Tokyo said after the signing ceremony, "Vietnam Wafer is an ambitious but also very interesting plan. As a member of many prestigious international trade organizations in Japan, I am very happy to be able to cooperate with a young and dynamic Vietnamese enterprise to strengthen the trade bridge between the two countries, while helping Vietnamese semiconductor startups have more opportunities to access technologies and partners in this field in Japan."
